I was wanting to know if there is a way to edit parts of the ui with the nfe firmware editor.

Mostly i was wanting to charge parts of the skins.

Could be an idea to evaluate the creation of a SDK just for UI designing?

That would be cool too add as an advanced option in the firmware editor.

Mostly i was wondering how to developers made the foxy skin like what tools they used to edit ui that way

I've been using Adobe Fireworks to create a sketch and mostly all icons.
When sketch was done all things was hardcoded in the firmware.

Here is a screenshot from my workspace from that time:

It would be super cool if you developed a tool to make your own ui or set a language, eg. German
