I dont know why, but I can't name the profiles, and some are garbled messes.

Thank you for this release, works fine here, on my hackintosh:)
Could you add the "copy/paste from one profile to another" function in the next release ?

You can already do that by going to the top right and saving the profile. Because this is a port, I don't think it will have more features than the original one.

I'm talking about atomizer profiles, not the full configuration. Current NFETool already has this feature.

I didn't see that yet even in the windows version, that sounds like it would have been useful lol. Do you have a problem with editing the profiles themselves? I have a huge issue doing it, I can sometimes write one letter, or if it was imported its glitchy. The editing of the profile works fine however.

    Hi Hobbyquaker,
Today I tried to import a new material from steam engine's csv with arcticfox-config (mac version 1.11.8.55)
but the new material doesn't update on device.

Also, I noticed a strange behavior on Relative % preheat settings:
If i set it to 120% on device and then download settings, it shows a 11.5% preheat on arcticfox-config.

I am running Linux mint 17.3 and I am getting the "Device not connected" issue. Can you change the firmware from the original to arcticfox on this V.11.0.0 or am I trying something impossible? Has anyone fixed this on LM?

I am using (or try to use Arctic Fox linux on a Kubuntu LTS.
The deb package could be installed without issues, TFE-Tools starts, but usb does not connect my Joyetech Primo Mini.

I also have the "Device not connected" issue

    lsusb tells me:
    lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:8000 Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 04f2:b469 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 04f2:0976 Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

The output of lsusb does not change if i unplug my Primo Mini.
The question is: how to get linux to connect to the Joyetech/eLeaf mod?

did you try to add your user to vmbox group?

After doing that I got my vm to recognize my evic vtc. BUT i tried to upload the firmware, and it started right. I got a message saying waiting for the device after reset, and now I have bricked my mod...suddenly it stopped recognizing the mod

    You need to install python-evic.

Apparently in my case every time I restart the VM i have to set the USB filters. It worked that way. That is regarding VM, i still cant see on the linux arcticfox configuration.

I will try to look hoy to install the python for evic

Thank you, but python-evic does not help, and it does not support the Primo Mini.
But it also doesn't work with the eVic VTC Mini (using ArcticFox 170914).
    Finding device...FAIL
    open failed

i am talking about arcticfox-config (linux deb package version 1.11.8.55)

python-evic and arcticfox-config do fail to connect to device when performed as root, so i guess it is not user privileges issue.

    Hello,

You can't install ArctictFox firmware using python-evic. Atm only NToolbox can do this.
In our plans was changes in the mechanism for installing and packaging the firmware so that Hobbyquaker could implement the firmware installation through its software. I can't give an answer when this happens.

Hi all. Thanks for your replies. :)

My issue was not that python-evic can't install firmware, it was that it cannot detect and connect my device, like Arcticfox-Config for linux cannot detect and connect.
My issue is that no one can tell me how to make linux recognize and connect the USB device Evic Mini or Primo Mini.

My problem seems to be solved. I do not know exactly how i did it, but i think i had two files in /etc/udev/rules.d/
file 99-arcticfox.rules and file 99-nuvoton-hid.rules from python-evic. after deleting file /etc/udev/rules.d/99-nuvoton-hid.rules
and rebooting linux Arcticfox Config could use my devices (Wismec P80, eLeaf iKonn 220 tested so far). works fine :-D.
yippie, i do not need Windows anymore, hoorray. :)

Nothing happens when I call my wismec predator on mac, what can it be? It's as if the device was not recognized. In the menu of "arcticfox config" only appears the option of quit, nothing else.

Have you already installed ArcticFox to your e-cig? ArcticFox Toolz and arcticfox-config will not work with factory soft.
