awesome gedeon... you saved me from a lot of headaches ...
nice holidays too
Is red panda project open source? I Want to add color theme function for esthetic reason.
Unless misinformation is making its way around here, Red Panda is unfortunately not open source. See:
I too would like the ability to colorize my device a bit, and I'd assume the fact that the developers have made Red Panda indicates their desire to allow people to take full advantage of their devices with multicolored displays.
EDIT: I realize I'm being presumptuous, so anyone who has any more information can correct me if my guess is wrong.
Simple color theme editor (standalone solution until NToolbox update) for RedPanda will be available next week.
Hell yeah! You people rock, maelstrom2001!
The update is right on time for me, too! My new mod is in the mail, due to arrive Monday.
Thank y'all once again!
Theme editor: RPTE
Warning: make backup of settings before firmware update. After flashing all settings will be reset to defaults.
Click on the screen element to select appropriate item in the color scheme, double click to change the color.
that is awesome!
thank you very much.....
I have tested it works beautifully....
now my blue gold ravage230 has blue gold theme on it....
soo happy....... thank you again....
one thing though the version you posted in here is not listed to the official release of red panda.....
just in case people didn't search though this thread to find the most awesome release of red panda!
Yep, this is nightly build: https://nfeteam.org/arcticfox/nightly/
Despite the name "nightly", there are quite stable versions with improvements and new features that can be used before the official release. Thank you
I did try to use RPTE with some earlier nightly RP versions and now with the latest official RP.
All the time I open the RPTE in my Windows 7 pro system, RPTE starts, but stays minimized down in the taskbar.
When I try to open/maximize the RPTE nothing happens.
I have tried to open RPTE, in normal mode, in compatibility mode (98,XP,Server2008 and Vista) -> RPTE will not open 'normal' only 'minimized'
No difference if I try to open RPTE with or without my Wismec Ravage:
and no way to 'maximize' RPTE.
RPGU works fine and no problems there with Windows 7 Pro.
Any help would be highly appreciated
Please try attached build, perhaps it is window positioning issue (desktop/screen center).
Thank you for the fast response.
This version of RPTE works fine. I was able to alternate the theme of my Ravage .
You guys rock, thank you for all your work.
IMHO thanks to Red Panda and Arctic Fox the 'budget devices' of Joyetech/Eleaf/Wismec are better than YIHI based devices. I have only a Vsticking VK530 to compare to, but especially TC works way easier and better too. Also I love my Luxotic DF and Pico Squeze2 compared to the Gbox and Capo Squonk.
Thank you very much for pointing this issue and response!
Will update download link with this build
