As said, the Pico X is appearing - reviewers have them, and I'm thinking of ordering one. Will Arctic Fox support these in the near future?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Atm we are wait for more devices from JWEI. Last few devices was build on another micro-controller and before we are dive into this new world we want to know that is the future path of the JWEI, not tests of any kind from them.

    P.S.
We were put a lot of effort and time into RedPanda, but JWEI decides to not make more devices like Epsion or Ravage and this is sad.

Thanks for that, I'll wait a while then. Are these new micros appearing in new stock of established devices or in new devices? Are we likely to buy them without knowing? This matters to me, as I like using Arctic Fox.

Thanks for the information. My slight concern was that if there is a reason to abandon the old MCU, say availability or obsolescence, that having engineered a functionally similar solution they might retro-fit it to new production of established devices.
As it must have required some effort, wonder why they changed? More power / memory?

Ah, so if it works as well as the old chipset, then I guess it will be "the future path of the JWEI":D

    Hi Guys,

great fan of you here. Do you plan to add support to the new Pico X devices? If yes, around when this is expected?

    Many thanks in advance,

Does it help if I send you a device as a donation?

I've been vaping exclusively on the original Pico (with silicone sleeve) and an rda (TC, 28g stainless, 1.0 ohm, 20 max watts, 420F max temp, AF firmware) since it became available and haven't seen a mod I like better.

For the past several weeks I've been using the Pico X. The new chassis is non metallic meaning noticably ligher weight. It feels sturdy. There is no paint to chip. The textured surface is not as grippy as a silicone sleeve but it's as good as it needs to be and now easier to get in and out of a pants pocket. The battery door threading on the X is far better than the original. The fire button is improved, easy to find and more positive. The button has a quiet click that can be felt but barely heard. In my opinion the revised form factor is better looking and functionally superior to the original. In the mean time I miss the Arctic Fox functions.
