any chance this is going to be officially supported as the nightly version linked in this thread is a little buggy.

@blackcell1 nightly builds are intended to bug hunting. As you can read, we have no device, so what we can understand from your "a little buggy"?
No community help with responses, confirmations and issue descriptions - no release.

    • Vaping on og firmware at 130w seems way stronger then cw.
    • Device turns off when below 30% randomly (not sure if it's my battery.)
Going back to og firmware to test if it's the batteries.

Hi I’ve been testing this nightly build (181029) for a few weeks now and I’m having a couple of issues, I’ve used Arctic Fox before on a Wismex Reuleaux 21700 and it worked fine on that but with this build I’m regularly getting atomizer short error when in TC Mode and when I unscrew and reinstall the RDA it functions fine again and the resistance is a bit jumpy but I presumed all wismec devices where like this due to the 510, Any tips/advice ?

    Hello @Connah_g !
Are both RX 21700 and Luxotic DF unstable in TC mode with 181029?
Which build was OK for your RX 21700? It is very desirable to find nearest to 181029.

Cheers for the quick reply, on the RX21700 I have 180905 from over at R/Waxpen on Reddit because I use it with the siaonara mainly and also used it as my SS TC mod for nic juice the DF was an upgrade from that solely to use with nic juice so I just installed the build from this thread as I didn’t need the prebuilt waxpen profiles, the 180905 build seemed to work fine on the 21700 even with my own SS profile added, should I put 180905 on the DF also or upgrade the RX21700 to 181029 and see if I have the same issues ?

    Please do this:
I can't remember exactly, but it seems to me that we haven't changed anything in TC for a long time.
As for the Luxotic DF, you can not use builds older than 181029 :) so let's compare devices with the same firmware to start.

Cheers I shall flash the newest build onto the 21700 and report back in a few days after some testing, thanks for the advice!

    Hello!
    Great :)
Please provide extended error code for "Atomizer Low" and "Atomizer Short" errors (see Products Manual p. 7.6). Potentially, fixing this issue may be useful also for new boxes, cause we have similar report related to OEM firmware.

Atomizer Short - S — the resistance fell below 0.02 Ohm during the puff

I can’t remember what the extended error code for atomizer low was but if it appears again I shall post it

After reading the detailed explanation in the link posted I can slightly understand this now as it is only when my wicks are becoming dry that it occurs but if I unscrew/rescrew RDA it’s fine for a short while until it happens again

    Thank you!
If you can reproduce "Atomizer Short" error, please connect box to PC, start Device Monitor and make some puffs, then post screenshot of the puff that ends with this error, or export CSV data and attach it in archive.
It would be great to confirm that error raised in protection state only. If so, that is the answer on our question :) Probably Luxotic DF and V80 from another topic have the same issue: atomizer may be lost on higher voltage than your RX21700 and older boxes, and a little correction will eliminate this issue.
