    It works like iJust:
    • no DC-DC converter, just simple PWM-driven MOSFET directly from the battery;
    • very poor atomizer monitoring due to dedicated measurement circuitry.
    80 watts? Come on :D you can reach this power only with really high drain battery (at least 25 amps) and with coil resistance about 0.12 Ohms or lower. And keep in mind that any time output voltage can not be higher than battery voltage under load.
    Huge voltage drops, where - I don't know. I can't get even 3,8 volts output with fresh battery. Maybe it is due to body design or 510 adapter.
    TC? Better forget it.
    Finally. I don’t know how it will all end, but the main goal will be to ensure a uniform, stable power output as the battery discharge and (necessarily!) the atomizer resistance fluctuations.
    This is an interesting task itself - to amp up very poor hardware with software, but at this moment I am completely disappointed.

    Nice. BTW, Wismec announced short 40w version.

    Test build was uploaded: r80_200607.bin
    Theme can be edited with RedPanda Theme Editor. Some elements may not match, but for now I am too lazy to add visual support for 80x160 screens.

    In case of problems, just flash the native firmware?

    It seems to work. On the cartridge 0.3 and 30 watts, it feels lower than the steam temperature than on the native firmware. I did not make any changes to the stock profile, just changed the value of watts.

    UPD. It feels that the heating does not work like in the native firmware. And this is good.

    OEM firmware have no realtime coil resistance monitoring. It works pretty strange on TFR coils such as SS, Ni etc. As I stated before,
    Unfortunately, the atomizer resistance check takes a lot of time (unlike the "usual" algo here it using dedicated circuitry), so performance drop is expected side effect. This is very early beta and tests will continue.
    Yes, heating algo here is the true RMS. I didn’t have the slightest desire to fully copy the OEM algo, it’s boring.

    I own both, the Delta and Armour Pro. Unfortunately the Delta has a slightly different PCB. I wanted to swap the PCBs of the Armour and the Delta, but as they are different that plan went out of the window... (Squonking w/o TC sucks)
    As I have the Armour Pro (TPCBA...) I will modify the PCB to put AF on it :)
